Our first snow of the winter

When I got up this morning I breathed a sigh of relief, there was no snow. A wee bit later, having had my breakfast and caught up on blip, I looked again and there was snow, and plenty more coming down! We got up to 8 cm (I checked, with a ruler), by mid-morning and then it stopped. Then it started to rain so we are now left with a slushy mush. Hopefully it won’t freeze tonight.
My main photo is one of the bird feeders mid-blizzard, with a goldfinch and a chaffinch attempting to get sunflower hearts, my extra is Leela, bravely venturing out as she needed the loo!
