Cosy

We drove south to Longridge to meet M&J for lunch. Dear friends I have known for 39 years. Really can’t believe it has been that long.

The drive down was slow because of rain of biblical proportions. But we got there safely and the pub was lovely and warm with delicious food.

We had a quick coffee after lunch and said our goodbyes as we didn’t want to delay our return. Journey home was much better and quicker and we got home just around sunset.

Cosy evening at home called for.
