Something cheerful

Popped out to feed the birds and stopped briefly to take a picture of my Mahonia flowers. It was good to see some colour on this wet and dismal day. Starting to get dark at 3.30 so I lit the log fire, switched on the light and read my book. Much milder today and a fire wasn’t really needed but it cheered up the room.
