First Light. Leitz Summicron 50mm DR

When we opened the bedroom blinds this morning, this was the first glimpse of the day.  Having suppressed the desire to pull the covers over my head, I saw the beauty in the moment and went for the camera.  Perhaps this is a lesson for life: always try to see the beauty in the moment...

As an Extra, I'll add that same first light raking across the extravagant crown molding of our lovely Cape Dutch armoire.
