Station stop

There’d only been space available on the 8.30 Ardrossan ferry, so we’d had to leave the island a lot earlier than we wanted. But I think we’ll be back.

As we set off, on one side there were snow-capped hills. On the other, low dark clouds that seemed to be lined with fire. On the drive home we stopped to admire the station at Wemyss Bay. A remarkable building.

Very much enjoyed our break.
