BERT

Ooh I've just noticed that today is my 2,190th blip - I believe that translates to 6 YEARS OF BLIPPING - YEAH.  I'm so happy I found blip, and that is all thanks to Mrs Gladders and Gladders.  A truly friendly and great social media site. Many thanks to all at Blip Central and all my wonderful Blip family.

A really wet and very windy day today, Bert has arrived and, amazingly, it's not even sunny in Grange-over-Sands - shocked huh!!

We did manage to pop into town but only for brunch and a visit to the Post Office.  Hubby popped out yesterday to get any shopping we needed just in case we couldn't get out today due to Bert.

Apparently there is lots of snow all around us but we've just got it very wet and windy.  An afternoon for hunkering down and watching a Christmas movie.  I save the good movies for December but once or twice a week from mid November I like to watch some sort of Christmas movie!!!

We went on down to Grange Railway Station just so hubby could pick up his newspapers so whilst he did that I popped onto the railway station, just to get a blip for today.  At least taking this I was under cover!!!

It's very quiet out though and although Grange ticket office was open due to all the train cancellations, actually due to flooding around Ulverston way, noone is travelling - surprise surprise!!!

Hope everyone affected by Storm Bert stays safe and dry.  Do take care out there.  It's very bad from Tebay on the M6 right up to and through Scotland I believe.
