Dome

Once again breaking my rule around no ******mas content before December 1st as I couldn’t resist this almost perfect alignment of an illuminated fair ride with the dome of the town hall. As should be evident, the market, fairground and ice rink are now all up and running in Leeds for the season. 

The big joke was that everywhere was covered in black ice today, so the ice rink was superfluous. I just about managed to slide down the hill to the station, get to work, skate around the park at lunchtime and get home again without falling over, but there were several dodgy moments.
