Beauty at Lake Tekapo
This morning Rainie myself and another photography friend set off for Lake Tekapo to photograph the lupins. However when we got there it was the Eschscholzias ( Californian Poppies ) that left us gasping with their beauty. I have never seen them so beautiful or so plentiful. The lupins were mediocre compared with other years. The lake was high so most of the eschscholzias were in the water so the reflections were so beautiful. At one stage a beautiful Muscovy duck glided through the flowers. See him in extras
What a wonderful few hours we had which included a picnic lunch by the lake. What a wonderful way to spend a sunny Saturday. surrounded by natures beauty
