Elderflowers …..

….. ….. ….. arriving. This means that Elderflower syrup will be coming up soon. I need to make a larger quantity this year.

An eventful day for Missy & me. I’ve been doing the Wilderness Magazine ‘Walk1200’ this year, which I completed in July - the idea being if you walk an average of 3.3kms a day for a year, you’ll walk 1,200kms.
Today we completed ‘Walk2000’, which we started on 21 January ‘24. It’s incredible how 2,000kms all added up, little bit by little bit. I’m stoked! Our finishing photo is in Extras.

This evening my #2 son H. is coming with a neighbour & me to a concert by the NZTrio, at The Hills, next door to the Village.
