An unusual visitor

I think this is a fox sparrow. I have seen them before , usually in what are very small flocks of 5-10 birds in snowy , winter weather. Today was a nice snowy winter day with 3 inches of very wet snow that has been trying to melt since it fell. This bird showed up a few times at the feeder over the course of the day. The activity was constant and kept my cat and I busy in the morning watching  birds, and him trying to catch them through the window. It was also a baking day with a pumpkin pull apart loaf.
