A Snowy Swim

A few months ago I joined a health club. Inspired by our Menorca summer holiday when I swam lots in pool and sea I wanted to find some swimming options…..a work colleague told me about a local health club with an outdoor pool!!! It’s about a 10min drive from us and I had no idea it was there…long story short I joined and have enjoyed several outdoor (and indoor) swims. Due to weekends away and seasonal bugs I haven’t been for a couple of weeks but feeling recovered now I went for a swim this afternoon. It was glorious! Blue sky, snow still on the ground, the luxury of a heated pool. I don’t think my phone camera is good enough to capture the steam rising from the pool.
Swam this afternoon following a morning coffee catch up with Judith H - long time since we’ve done this and had such a lovely time - very grateful for it :) hope it will continue.
