They came and they conquered

Today we played against the Canadian ladies on the final day of their Scotland tour. Even before today they had secured the Muriel Fage Trophy but we did nothing to help Scotland's scoreline and were only able to win one of the six games played. 

This evening was the closing banquet where we enjoyed great food, company and entertainment. The Canadian ladies sang their tour songs, some of the men from the 2023 tour to Canada performed a comedy sketch and our 'Judge' raised and amazing £789 in fines for Alzheimer's Society. Many of the guests were part of previous tours to Canada, Sweden and USA. Twelve of us from the 2025 tour to Canada group enjoyed a taste of things to come.
