Choices in Life - to cycle, or to look at ducks?

We tpok a trip to the park with Freya, who was participating in "cycle tots", a group of preschool kids learning to cycle with an instructor. It was all going reasonably well until Freya spotted the ducks, which she felt were far more interesting than cycling. Fortunately granddad NotCuthbert was there to hold her hand in case she got too near the water. Jan was on hand to rescue the cycle.
In a bit we caught up with the group, who deliberately move fairly slowly so everyone can keep up.
What a great idea this is, helping these tiny kids to navigate the world, going up and down hill on their balance bikes, round corners, braking, and playing on mock roads - brilliant!
And so lovely that we can take part too!
