Cyclamen

We were due to go my sister’s for lunch today but she messaged to say my brother in law had had a fall yesterday and had been kept in hospital overnight with a suspected broken nose, broken ribs and neck damage that required a brace; even more worryingly, he seemed to have a bleed on the brain. Not the sort of fall you want in your mid-80s but at least he’s in the best place. MRI scan and x-rays planned for today.

Took this of the cyclamen in our friends’ front garden, when we called in to check on the post this morning on our walk.

Motivated by the continuing freezing weather, I tried out the new blade on my electric saw this afternoon, sawing up more wood for kindling.
