We needed to replace windscreen wiper blades and Mr Flum buys them at a reasonable price from a place near the airport.
This meant that we were fine and handy for coffee at Craigie's Farm cafe and sat by the window with a fine view to the southeast, with flocks of small birds wheeling round, pheasants running around the pumpkin field, corvids and gulls feeding on a manure heap... .
Craigie's is well-known as having great views of planes flying into and away from the airport; as we left we paused in a layby to snap the view (actually I was snapping the sheep but they turned their backs...), catching a new arrival on approach.
Then it was some basic shopping on the way home and a very late lunch
Later we had two views of the International Space Station as it passed over in the evening, having had a good sighting on Wednesday, disappointingly none yesterday. So much depends on a clear sky but, after several starry skies, I fear these will be in short supply for a while as Storm Bert passes through.
