FlowerFriday...Christmas cactus

The Christmas cactus is in full bloom,  a wee bit early, but I do get to enjoy it before I go away....thanks Bikerbear:)
Another cold, crisp day with lots of sunshine, can't complain. Had a good chat with M in Australia this morning. He's away with his partner for a relaxing weekend after a busy work schedule, commuting into Sydney five days a week.  Bfriend this afternoon,  usual fun and games, and ate too many biscuits as usual.  Home in the dark, after shopping for a few bits for the weekend.  I don't intend venturing out tomorrow, if the forecast is a bad as forecast. Nice to come home to a warm house, this year. The wall insulation has made a huge difference....
Yesterday's cottage pie was tasty, and much better than I expected.
