Rain ...

... glorious rain!

We got some much needed rain today as we have been in a drought since August.  This is the first measurable rain since then.  

But that didn't stop me from sitting in the sunroom (without sun!) for at least an hour photographing all the birds.  And there were plenty of those!  You can see how wet it was by all my pictures.  I've added a bird collage in Extras of a Black-capped Chickadee, Dark-eyed Junco and a Carolina Wren. 

And, of course, my main photo is a Blue Jay grabbing a peanut.  Please have a look full screen.
