Large Border

Some paperwork completed during the morning, followed by an afternoon of pottering and sorting out jobs as well as collecting prescriptions for myself and my family.
 
The gardener came today, just one instead or two and today’s picture is part of the large border which he worked on today. Tomorrow I will probably post an “after” picture as it was too dark after he left, so today’s main picture is looking at the large border at the top of the orchard looking South. The extra is the same border photographed from the other direction, looking North.
 
The temperature at noon today was five degrees Celsius. Another very sharp frost this morning, although my husband said it had rained during the night. Although it was five degrees, it felt colder than yesterday; probably because it is windier.
