Three Bourton Images
I got three OK shots today, couldn't decide which one to go with.
We'd popped into Bourton to pick up a library book I had reserved (Small Things Like These which I thought I ought to read having dismissed the film the other day).
There were putting the lights on the tree. And there was me thinking setting the lights up on our tree up each year was a challenge.
It was a cold but very sunny day. I got a few nice photos of St Lawrence's Church but my favourite was just the shadow of the flag on a window (first extra).
I then walked down to see a pair of geese that we often drive past on our way into the village. They seemed very animated as we went past today but when I reached them they wouldn't perform. They took turns tucking their heads into their feathers to avoid both looking at the camera at the same time. A more dedicated photographer might have had more patience, but I gave up and just went with one of the tucked in imitation swan poses (second extra).
