Day Eleven: Stamina

Off to Venice for a day trip and a test of stamina and endurance as the temperatures reached 38 degrees and the crowds and sun were fierce with nowhere to sit down. Despite this we managed quite a walking tour and saw the Grand Canal, lots of unusual boats and a lot of grafitti. Despite all this we had a great day and visited a lot of shops of which there seemed to be three main types....glass shops (bought some), mask shops (bought some) and pizza shops (bought some).
