Friday 22nd November 2024...

It's still wet, wet, wet here, in Brisbane Australia... Localised flooding in the usual areas... 
Today I took the cans and bottles to the Containers for Change recycling place and I got $34.70 AUD...
I went to Flatcap Espresso for coffee and a brekky wray for breakfast as my usual Friday catch up with Gayle, Lulu the dog and Margaret got cancelled due to the rain, even Bean and Bark the coffee van called it early as it was just way too wet... I picked some home grown Strawberries today... Yum...
It's parkrunday tomorrow but due to the wet conditions a few parkruns have already cancelled and same are saying to check their FB page at 6am in the morning for an update of courses... Our parkruns start at 7am so that still gives people time to get to the start of a parkrun... I'm headed to Sandgate parkrun tomorrow for barcode scanning, it's also their 12th Birthday... Their house it safe from flooding they will only cancel if it's storming...
