Not The Best

Met my best friend in Hexham yesterday and we had a lovely day shopping,  talking (lots), having lunch and visiting Hexham Abbey where we saw a wonderful exhibition of 12 huge embroidered silk panels depicting the creation of the bible.  They were absolutely amazing but incredibly hard to photograph and I wasn't able to do them justice.  Here is a section from on panel to give you a taste of the standard of the work.  

We tried to dodge from shop to shop as it was such a cold day and we wanted to spend as little time outdoors as possible.
