Red Hot Chilli Peppers

It was even colder this morning… about minus two when I got up around 5 a.m. I experienced this firsthand because one of the idiots I raised managed to leave the back door open all night… but after a blast of central heating and a hot coffee, I was in a better mood and fit for human society again. Work passed by uneventfully, although my office was becoming distinctly chilly by the end of the day. Back home for supper, and it was definitely time for hearty, warming, winter food. We cooked up a nice hot chilli with plenty of fresh red peppers. These looked so colourful and cheery as they sizzled in the pan, so I had to grab a quick photo.
