Jack’s Point

It doesn’t get much better than this!!  Today was a total contrast to the wet miserable rainy day of yesterday and we all headed out to Jack’s Point to play one of the most spectacular golf courses in New Zealand.  Honestly, I have never played on a course quite like it.  You just had to be there to really appreciate it.  How on earth could I choose a blip today, it’s been almost impossible.  I do love this one of Mauzee waiting to play a drive with the snow capped Remarkables in the background.  You can get some idea of the vastness of the course as well.  I was so proud of Mauzee.  It was the first time she has played 18 holes and playing today on this course was such a contrast to the sand greens at Augusta Golf Club.  We played with two very experienced golfers.  Peta and Shelley were wonderful to play with and guided us both around the course.  I was really impressed with the way they embraced Mauzee as well.  I thought it was incredibly brave of her to tackle such an iconic course and to end up with a big smile on her face.  We play here again next Tuesday, so let’s see if we can improve our scores.
