Butler Blake Grant

We were off up the toon toon for one of Mrs C's birthday presents to see Bernard Butler (Suede), Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and James Grant (Love and Money) at The Queens Hall. Although a span of just 6 years in age, they were all quiet different to each other but have individually been respected UK artists for some time. We've seen TF and L&M numerous times over the years, but are not that familiar with Bernard Butler and I think the 3 of them have been performing as a trio for a couple of years.

We were expecting them to take turns at playing their own music, together, but no, this unlikely trio enjoyed it so much, they've recorded an album together, released next year, so played some of those songs too. I have to say, I was quite taken with BB's songs, I must discover more, JG voice was incredible as usual and Norman, well, we love the TFs! Although we were expecting to enjoy this, we both loved it, quite a special night.
