Where is the snow?

Rang my family in Wales. They were snowed in.
They express surprise that we have none .While large parts of the country are blanketed in snow all we have is severe frost.
 Not for the first time we find ourselves not only snow free but escaping both the high temperatures in summer and the very cold temperatures in winter. 
We got talking in yoga  this morning ( after class naturally) about the changing nature of present giving. Gone are the surprises on Christmas morning. It’s all now about: “send me a link”.
Thanks to Amazon sometimes you don’t even get to see the gift. It goes direct to the recipient. Another change: the growing trend for experiences over “stuff”.
