FROST

Another freezing cold night and its been bitterly cold all day again.  I walked down to the village this afternoon along the back lane and the ground was rock solid.  Lots of frost so I took a shot of some frosty grass for my Abstract Thurdsay blip and did some processing.  The theme is Mono Abstract....black and white or one colour in various shades.  Thanks to Ingeborg  for hosting.

Dropped off a bag of stuff at the charity shop and did some food shopping.  3 parcels collected at Tesco.  Then back home.  Seemed even colder on the way back as the wind was getting up.

Put the gas fire on in the front room and " thawed out ".  Got nice and settled and warm .... but unfortunately I had to go out again to slimming group.  So another cold walk to the church hall.

Not many there this week but it was a good meeting.  Most of us lost weight.  I lost 2 pounds which puts me back inside my target range,  I got a lift home which I was very thankful for.

Was going to have salad for my  meal but in the end I needed something cooked to warm me up so I had gammon,fried egg and chips.  Very tasty - and syn free - so it was a good choice.
