How many shades?
We woke to a snowy scene, but clear roads so needles and natter was on this morning. There are always boxes being delivered and unpacked, working there must be like Christmas every day.
One disadvantage is that there is minimal heating in the shop and every time someone opens the door the icy air blasts in. By the time we were finished I couldn’t feel my fingers, not very helpful when you are trying to knit.
Home via R & S’s house to get extra food supplies for Olive, must make sure that she is well cared for.
I crashed out on the settee with my beanie and blanket to try to warm up. I woke up after an hour and started sneezing, a runny nose and sore throat. Not a pleasant experience at all.
The evening got worse, I got through a big box of tissues, lots of fluids, but no dinner, I just couldn’t eat. We abandoned the meal planned for tonight, it’s now in the fridge for tomorrow. B has knocked up something healthy that will keep him going.
I’ve managed to stay awake as my fingers defrosted during the evening and I was able to knit. I was even able to watch the latest episode of the Shetland series that’s on TV at the moment.
