Make The Most of It!!!

Today, me and hubby decided to drive the short distance down to Ogmore By Sea for a walk along the coastline and beach. This has been a regular haunt of ours, and our respective families for many years. I took my first steps there as a baby, on the beach! We actually have the moment caught on cine film which we had transferred onto dvd.
It was a gorgeous day down there today, very warm and sunny with a lovely breeze, just perfect.
I took lots of photos but settled on this one because I loved the cloud formation over the lifeguard station and Ogmore village.
On our way back, we had to stop at The Peli for some liquid refreshment, its a must every time we go down there! The full name of the pub is, very strangely, The Pelican In Her Peity!!!! But I think most folk call it The Peli, as we do! Far easier than saying that mouthful every time!
We then walked across the road from the pub down to Ogmore Castle and the stepping stones down the across the River Ogmore. The local riding school took all their horses down there for a freshen up in the water and their overnight stay in the fresh air. Was great to watch
