another scorcher

Rather late blipping and blogging today I'm afraid.

A bad vertigo attack kicked in during the night and I couldn't even contemplate breakfast until lunchtime. Hated cancelling work but couldn't walk around let alone drive and deal with customers! I crawled to the kitchen, left the door open for Stella and went back to bed.

Have a better time of it since mid afternoon though the migraine headache and earache have lingered. was delighted to see more bees and butterflies enjoying the garden (on Flickr) and even found a new cookie recipe (results on blog tomorrow all being well.)

So once again I'm playing catch-up! Hope the weekend's better (and cooler, the humidity is not my friend)
