More friends

I have been very social lately. This afternoon Kate and baby Oscar called around to say hello, they live a long way away but Kate’s Mum lives around the corner so we get to see them when they are in town. I have known Kate for about 15 years (another work friend even though she is over 30 years younger than me). I love my young friends. I was really excited to be able to give her 2 second hand things she wanted. One was Shapo (an original Tupperware toy). They looked to buy one but they are $80 and so I was pleased to be able to hand our old one onto Oscar.  The other was a high chair we had for the grandchildren and they wanted one in that style. Win Win. 

Earlier we had a quick trip up town just when Isbi was passing through, if she was just a bit later they could have called in for lunch ( I had just made a big pot of soup).
