Time for a makeover

The Queensferry Tollbooth (South Queensferry High Street) was built in the 17th century and remodelled in 1720 when the tower was built. The tower has two bells dated 1694 and 1723. The Jubilee Clock was added in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. I didn't know anything about it until I decided to blip it this morning- despite living here for 40 years! Amazing
