After

I forgot to take a 'before' but this is the 'after'. I'm really pleased with it and love the colour (Dulux Raspberry Diva), especially with the contrasting dado rail.  Obviously the curtains don't go at all now (the previous colour was a kind of duck egg greeny blue and the curtains were made to match) but well have to put up with them, at least in the short term. 

He has to come back tomorrow to finish the last of the hallway.

As well as all that I had a shopping delivery, which was a bit of guesswork as Himself placed the order and hadn't copied me, and the driver's handset wasn't working so she couldn't tell if anything was missing., and a whole heap of work calls and meetings.  I finally managed to put the last of it away at about 6pm. (it arrived at 8.30am). 

Luckily I'm home alone now as Himself has gone running. I'm still being careful of my Achilles so  skipped it tonight in the hope I can go at the weekend.
