Wednesday: Wintry Showers

I was woken up during the night my hailstones bouncing on the flat roof and on the bedroom windows. The hail showers continued all morning, we also had some snow, temperature around 3°C. 

By lunchtime the showers had blown over, the hail had melted and we had a chilly and cloudy afternoon.

Our very brave bumblebee, https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3302313916759017078 has been on the Mahonia flowers every day, I’ve seen 2 at a time on some days - they need those fur coats!

Early evening and temperature around ZERO … but the forecast is for milder weather by the weekend :-))
