One daze at a time...

Newgrange moment at the Forty Foot

It wasn't quite the ray of sunlight hitting the furthest recess of the passage tomb on the shortest day of the year but:
- the days are quite short indeed.
- it was as cold as a inside a passage tomb with no central heating during the last Ice Age.

The beam of intense sunlight cutting through the cold air highlighted a number of things:
- the absence of skangers smoking joints.
- the absence of bluetooth speakers.
- the absence of empty cans of beers/cider/alcopops.
- the absence of abandoned swimwear.
- the absence of swimmers.

Long may the cold spell last!
