Christmas cactus……….

…………..which was my dad’s.
I brought it here from his house well over 15 years ago to give it some care and attention,
He was not able to look after it, becoming more frail and eventually residing in a lovely residential care home in our home town of Rawtenstall in Lancashire,
As it periodically showed signs of being past its best, I used to take one of the fleshy “leaves” and put them in some compost in.a new pot,
In this way it has had a few resurrections!
The lovely table cloth was given to us by our lovely friend who had been visiting Blippers amandoAlentejo and Mikedetrapia in Portugal several years ago.
I will be back commenting tomorrow.
Today seems to have disappeared so quickly!
