Braeheads

A morning of scouting admin and reading the release notes on the new Scouts UK admin system, which replaces the previous hopeless admin system, which replaced the earlier terrible admin system.  I'm left with the feeling we're about to get more of the same. Scouts are pretty decent at lighting fires, fairly good at putting them out again and rather competent at doing fun stuff with sharp objects. However, we appear to be pretty shite at IT.  I'll keep you posted.

Later, I went for a bike pootle around the village marches. Pockets of ice were evident in potholes so concentration was required, but it was too nice a day not to.  A couple more days of this lovely blue stuff and then we're back to Yellow Warnings again just in time for the weekend.
