Still Full Moon
I got up at 9 so I could go and get my stitches out of my head before leaving to go Bangkok. It was crazily warm this morning. Wish I was wearing shorts but when I got in at 5 I was literally in the shower for an hour trying to get the UV paint off me. When I was at the clinic there were even more people than the day before which I expected. Someone got lifted out on a dodgy spinal board with a drip...pretty glad it wasn't me! Masses of people had bandages around there feet and hands. We had been told several times before going to full moon that we should NEVER wear flipflops. People cut there feet on the long tail boats anchors, smashed bottles and glass everywhere. Apparently the locals burry glass under the sand so people get cut feet and have to pay to get it sorted...not sure if it is true though. Anyway...when I finally got my stitches out there were 2 other people in the room with me. Paid the same amount which was good, I thought it was going to be slightly more pricy. Said bye to my new friend in the clinic, haha! Had my last free big breakfast before packing my bag in a slight rush. It is very full now as Annie has given me all her stuff that she doesn't want to take back home. The weight difference betweent our bags is unbeleivable. Said bye to Sophie, Alice, Emma and Lucy (not a sherbourne girl) Took a bus to the pier which felt like a roller coaster as the roads are sooo steep. Waited for a good 2 hours in the boiling heat before taking a ferry to Chumphon which passed Koh Tao. Annie and I both want to go back there. Then got a bus to Bangkok which I am sitting on right now writing this at 12.30am. We should be there but it is going to be late. I can't sleep at all. Got no leg room as the person infront of me has the seat all the way back and the person behind me pushed my seat back up. So I have my legs crossed on my seat listening to my music. My head is pretty sore now even with the stitches out which is really annoying as I can't put it back on the seat as it hurts too much! Hopefully going to be able to wash my hair properly soon, haha! The bus driver is going surprised slow, very impressed! There was an accident in the news of 19 tourists killed on a bus heading to north Thailand. We have been luckily that I hasn't been us. Prayed every time I have got onto a bus out here!
