Forth & Clyde Canal
Its been a funny old day today. I managed to sneak out for an hour on my own this afternoon in between the thunder showers, to take a walk along the canal near where I grew up. I haven't been there since my poor mum passed away a few months ago, and I had to drive past the house where I grew up too, which was hard because it was the first time I've been there since, and someone else lives there now. It's a very strange feeling, having been in and out of the same house for over 40 years and not being able to go in now.
I bumped into my Uncle Robert while he was out walking his dog too, which was really strange considering I haven't seen him for months!!!
I was planning to stay out for longer to take more photos, but I ended up speaking to my Uncle Robert for AGES so I didn't get many at all, but it was great to see him.
Here's one I did take of the canal with boats on, the sun came out for about 15 minutes before the heavens opened again.
