Frozen triffid

On 10 October I posted a picture of our rampant nasturtium.

Just as John Wyndham’s creatures were brought down by a virus, mine could barely survive 2 nights of frost. We have been spared the snow and sleet hitting various parts of the country but is has been cold.

After a zoom meeting and some admin we went out for a lovely long lunch at friends with lovely home baking and warming food. Home by 5:30! Great to catch up.
