Frosty mornings
The temperature has dropped and due to stay down all this week. The result … beautiful, delicate scenes. This was as I walked Jodie this morning.
I met up with Henry for dinner this evening. There were about 20 lads in the restaurant and they were VERY loud. Happy and pleasant but just very loud. It came as a sweet relief the few occasions where there was a lull in their chatter.
Henry and I decided that we’d finish our meal and head elsewhere for a quieter drink after. Toronto place Henry had in mind seemed to be closed already so we headed back to Hannah’s for a coffee.
I noted that it was actually snowing ever so lightly but thought it best I didn’t stay too long just to be safe as the weather forecast was for heavy snow over night.
Sitting in Hannah’s ‘library’ was lovely. So calm and relaxing. I could easily have forgotten I had work tomorrow and just thought I was on holiday. Anyway, 9:30 came and it was time to head. As always it had been a lovely evening.
Driving home was fine. Snow mostly just in the air and dusting the verge.
Back home it was thicker on the plants and walls and just made everything look clean. :)
