Yellow-Crowned Night Heron

Edward and I had returned from visiting museums in DC when I spotted this bird in the stream at the College Park Metro station. Such a handsome bird! We have Great Blue Herons back home but not these.

On my main blip account, I blipped Capitol Hill and was determined to post it to mark that day. What to do? I had this lovely bird, too! Edward suggested I back-blip the bird to a new, second account where I can put alternate blips when I just cannot choose. Good idea! Here is the first one. I may back-blip some more. Going forward, though, I will post here occasionally.
