A stitch in time.....

After a rubbish night's non sleep, the highlight of which was seeking out ID documents at 4 a.m. and another long lie instead of a swim the day got better.  A frantic 90 minutes of work, sending emails and then off to the Stitchcraft exhibition at the Dovecot Studios with E.  It was very cold outside and we were early so we had some tea and a chat before the conducted tour which was very good and very demonstrative.

The exhibition is joint with NTS and many of the exhibits come form the great houses of Aberdeenshire, and of course they were all done by women.  Thoroughly recommended.  After lunch we had a look from the weaving gallery and then an interlude in Blackwells before home.  An excellent afternoon.

I then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening working, trying to catch up on the emails and tick things off on my list.  Getting there.

Still cold outside and the heating is still on full blast inside.
