Birch perch

A bit of an uninspiring day at work and I didn't take any pictures until late afternoon when the sun was hitting my tree.  The birds were suddenly busy again, with bluetits, magpies, robins and sparrows being the usual suspects, along with wood pigeons at lunchtime and gulls availing themselves of the clifftop-like roof ridges.

Freezing cold still so I lit the woodburner in earnest and now I could quite happily stick Praha on the radio and go to sleep.
