Gold :-)

Today it was very wet.
I had to take my car to the garage today because the beam under the car had rusted through. It had to be welded. Wim had to drive along of course because otherwise I wouldn't get home. But suddenly! no more power ;-(. Almost 29,000 households affected. It turned out that there was a fire in the power park. Wim's car was in the garage with an electric door. Because Wim's car just fits in the garage, we couldn't reach the cord for opening it manually. After we had driven the car as far forward as possible "40 cm" we were able to unlock the gate and push it up manually.
After we had driven to the garage together we drove to Ikea. It was only 1 1/2 km further away.
We were planning to eat a hot meal there, if the power would be out for a longer period.
Fortunately, it was resolved after 3 hours.
Ate at home now, baked French toast and enjoyed the quiet evening.
