One of the first...

...shots with the new (to me) telephoto lens. Very satisfied with the sharpness and its build quality is perhaps the best of any lens I have owned, but the camera + lens combo is much bigger than the Sony was. Obviously I knew that and accepted it as a trade off for more reach, but it's definitely a downside.

While away on Saturday, my brother sent me a photo of a fallen birch near his road. It had looked like it's just about fall all summer, but as it wouldn't quite reach the road, we didn't hurry doing anything about it. I cut the branches in the morning, but left the trunk for now.

There was a spruce leaning against another one next to the one fell across his road on six weeks ago. We planned felling together it before it too blocks the road, but didn't find the time to do it. Now, it had been blown back up! I think its angle was about 15 degrees, with the top more than five metres off, so it being pushed back up is quite a miracle.

Backblipped yesterday.
