Another Snowy Day

Snow fell late last night and again this morning and for the second day in a row the golf course was closed but not to Mrs CBL and I who managed a walk in between showers.

As you can see in the picture there are footprints on show so we weren’t the only ones who went for a walk, quite a few dog walkers had been out the before us.

As the extra shows not only the course was closed but the putting green was too.  I had been so looking forward to practising my putting this morning so was very disappointed.  Clearly the head green-keeper is a spoilsport ;-)

As some of you will have seen in comments made on my journal it was my birthday yesterday.  I tend not to draw attention to the fact that I am another year older but my blip bestie Cailleach decided otherwise.  She is, as Cat Stevens sang, a hard headed woman!   There was no stopping her when she decided to write a birthday poem for me and posted it yesterday on her journal to celebrate the occasion.

Thank you so much Sus, it brought tears to my eyes!!!  People may see me in a different light from now on and that may be a good thing ;-)
