The Shetland coat

What a day.

Mr C could barely walk this morning as his back was so sore. I had to tie his laces for him. 12 days ago he jerked his back on a kerb but had no bother for a couple of days till he did a lot of stretching and bending in the garden. From then he’s had niggles then yesterday he was taking paracetamol and in more pain so booked physio for today.

We had our HepA and typhoid boosters with a nurse at the surgery this morning and when there he was in so much pain he was sick. The nurse tried to get him in to see a GP but they said to go home and wait for him to phone. He’s got codeine prescribed and now I’ve driven him to the Physio as he’s in too much pain to get behind the wheel.

It looks like he’ll be in no state for our long haul flight on Friday.

This is the Shetland coat I have been knitting for 2.5 years. It still needs buttons. But it fits and I’m pleased
