Stainton Aqueduct

For a change I'm not paddling through a tunnel with son R. Here the public  footpath goes under the restored Stainton Aqueduct and you just have to hope the river level is  not too high.  It was OK today - unlike a previous visit here.
Today the Tuesday crowd enjoyed an 8km walk from the Crooklands Hotel who gave us a good lunch afterwards.
