Monthly meeting again and today we were fortunate to have Andy Griffee a retired BBC exec who is now a crime author. He spoke brilliantly about crime fiction and his writing process, and about his novels which are set on canals and rivers. He also talked about sub-genres of crime fiction and gave recommendations. See above.
Afterwards there was an opportunity to purchase which seemed popular!
